I’ve had the pleasure of working with Chris over many, many years, in fact it’s safe to say over 20 years. Chris first worked with me as a sound engineer, recording voice overs, track-laying sfx, sound design and crafting the full sound production. Since that time I’ve worked with Chris as a freelance sound recordist, because of his previous technical experience, Chris has a first class understanding of what is required when it comes to recording sound, after all he has worked on both sides of the fence so he knows what his client needs when it comes to the final mix. Beyond his years of experience, he is also just a good bloke, great sense of humour and fits into any environment or team.
2016 gave me the opportunity to explore areas of my own country that I hadn’t seen before! Aside from a documentary shoot in China, I was able to tour all over the western side of Australia up to Darwin for the awesome experience that was Surfing the Menu: Next Generation. I was also lucky enough to complete all the audio post on this project spending many hours creating the sounds of chopping and frying for the international mixes of the show!
